We discovered Arugula, a wonderful place in Bacalar that felt like a home away from home. The owner, a genuinely kind lady, shared the best tips on where to explore. We savored the freshest and most delicious wraps, enjoyed the finest coffee in town, and indulged in vegan and sugar-free brownies. With great attention to detail and a warm atmosphere, it provided a super nice and chill vibe. We returned every day during our 5-day stay in Bacalar. We loved it!
Eaten too many of the same tacos and craving a fresh salad? This place is for you! Make/pick your own salads by picking different ingredients including a protein source, dressing etc, the staff assemble and call you when ready. Fresh, tasty and reasonablly priced. It's a good concept as vegetable/salads are few and far between in bacalar. There are also sandwiches which look great too. The deck out front is shaded, and has various seating options where you can enjoy. Worth a visit!
Very fresh place where you can combine your own salad or ciabatta sandwich at a good price. Great fruit smoothies. All ingredients are fresh, good, and tasty. Very nice host and service. Good place to sit and work. Have the option of sitting on the floor on pillows I highly recommend
Amazing, I spent January through April in Bacalar and I went here almost everyday. It has the most comfortable seating which is a priority for an old man like me . The food and drinks were also very amazing and healthy food is very important to me. The service was also excellent. There is a lovely young couple and some other employees and they were very efficient and extremly pleasant . The owner is there most of the time and is a very pleasant person and speaks good English . So this comes very highly recommended by me.
I found this place randomly while walking around Bacalar. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and the salad smoothie I had were generous and really tasty!
